Please be aware that the parish offices will be closed for Christmas between the 22nd December and 8th January.  Phone & email will be checked but only extremely urgent matters dealt with immediately. Everything else will be caught up on in the New Year.

Mabe Parish Council comprises 10 members, whose role is to represent the interests of people living and working in Mabe parish.
In addition to Mabe village, the parish boundary extends from the University site at Tremough (in the north east corner) to Halvasso (west) and includes Argal and College reservoirs.

The Parish Council meets monthly in the WI Memorial Hall on Antron Hill (ordinarily at 7.30pm on the second Thursday of the month).

You will find copies of meeting agendas and minutes on this website.  In addition, copies are posted on the notice board in the centre of the village.

Every meeting includes an opportunity for members of the public to ‘have their say’ and address parish council members on issues of concern.

Among the parish council’s responsibilities is for members to consider any planning applications that affect the parish.  In recent years there have been a number of major planning applications affecting Mabe, including significant housing and renewable energy developments.  If you would like to comment on a planning application you might want to attend a parish council meeting, contact parish council members (either direct or through the clerk) or simply access Cornwall Council’s planning website using the following link: Click here

Members' contact details are listed under the Councillors and Staff section of this website.  Similarly, you can email the clerk through the Contact Us section of this site.
